The chips are down for RFS BMWs in Sun City 400
The chips are down for the Pretoria-based Retirement Fund Solutions off road racing team of Hannes Grobler/Hennie ter Stege and Christiaan du Plooy/Henk Janse van Vuuren and their unique South African-designed and built Super Production BMW X3s as the Absa South African Off Road Car Championship heads for the Sun City 400 in the Pilanesberg this weekend.

With consecutive runner-up finishes in the last two Sun City 400 off road races, privateers Gary Bertholdt and Andre Vermeulen (Atlas Copco Toyota Hilux) will be aiming to go one better this weekend (July 29 and 30) when they tackle the 2011 edition in the Pilanesberg.

Proudly Bidvest Yamaha team-mates, Jade Gutzeit and Brian Baragwanath, were the respective winners of the motorcycle and quad categories of the BELL 400, the fourth round in the 2011 national off-road championship that took place in extremely wet and muddy conditions in the Hluhluwe area in KwaZulu-Natal. Both riders have claimed a victory earlier this season.
