Robby's awesome twin Turbo VR6 Golf
amboree fever is hotting up. Leaflets & posters are everywhere to be found and everyone with a VW has vowed to make an appearance at the biggest VW show in Africa.

The format of racing and entertainment events are the same as before, but careful attention has been given to keeping the crowds well fed.

The GTi club has contracted new companies to handle food and refreshments.

In the Pit area, Hot Dogs, Schwarmas, Muffins, Chips and Coke products will be available. In the middle of the track, where the majority of the public will be standing, there will be 2x Boerewors and Hamburger stands, as well as a caravan with all extra goodies such as Vetkoek, Pancakes, crisps, sweets, chocolates and other supplies. There will also be a drinks supplier with all Coca Cola products as well as a beer stall with all popular brands.

Red Bull will also be in attendance, doing sampling around the track.

At the back of the pits, the Xtreme Veedubz Club have vowed to make this year's Concours the best ever. We look forward to a fantastic turnout of the cleanest and neatest looking cars in Cape Town.

On the track, watch out for the appearance of SA's only twin engined Golf.

This car, built and driven by Robby Ferroli (top pic), is probably the quickest VW in the country - ever. Robby will be attempting to break his 600m record of 216km/h, set in his Golf VR6 Twin Turbo.

If this is the only reason that you come to Killarney on Sunday, then it will be well worth it. The other big attraction will be Werner Koekemoer (pic) doing what he does best - thrilling the crowds at the oval with lots of tail wagging and tyre smoke.
