Fernando Rueda and Cobus Vrey will be quick in the Team Total S2000 Toyota
|
Cape statistics show that Pierre Arries will remain with Hergen Fekken for 2009 and the BP Ultimate VW S2000 duo will face a stern challenge from their team mates Enzo Kuun and Guy Hodgson. The the Team Total Toyota Run X S2000 of Jean-Pierre Damseaux and André Vermeulen must be of some concern as Damseaux Motorsport have certainly prepared a serious challenger for 2009.

Trading sides Fernando Rueda and Cobus Vrey will be stepping up to S2000 in the ex-Johnny Gemmel Toyota Run X, making it two Team Total challengers at the head of the pack.
Mike Nathan and Derek Jacobs enter Gp N4 with the ex-Fernando Rueda Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 Turbo 4x4 and it would be wise to accept that they are serious about their return.

Andy Haigh-Smith and Steve White will keep the A6 crowd busy in the Team REACT Toyota Corolls RXi 1600 whilst Charl Strydom and Sakkie Bosman are longing for a good outing in their Sabre Paints VW Polo 1600.
John Peiser and Brian Hoskins may well surprise in the Speed Pro Cycling Equipment Gp N4 Subaru Impreza 4x4 Turbo and with the Western Cape Regional Championship forming part of this event we could well see a healthy entry in April.
Thorsten Pey and Mark Palmer hoping for a return to form in the class S4 BMW 325i after a frustrating outing in Bredasdorp.
Stefanie and Willem Hugo are enjoying the ex-Erasmus Gp N2 Toyota Corolla RXi 1600 and could well be joined by the similar car of Ettiene du Toit.
