The Truth shall probably be displayed on the doors of this team!

As the rule goes and we have said in a previous article, Marcus Grönholm will spend the 2003 season surrounded by number ONE door panels. Burns in turn will fight to get “his” number back by the end of the 2003 season.
Out of place if the numbers are important to you, which of course it is to many spectator, bookie and competitor, are Colin McRae and Sebastien Loëb. They are running 17 and 18 respectively on their super competitive Citroëns. I take it that Carlos Sainz will display number 19 on his doors.

McRae and Loeb probably the furthest numbers from the truth!

In South Africa I wonder what would have happened if Sarel vd Merwe was allocated the number 4 for his door? I suppose being as superstitious as he is, he would have played bowls for the year! This honour will fall on the shoulders of Markko Martin and we will have to see what he does with the van der Merwe number.

Number 7 and 8 for the two Subaru's

Seven could be very fitting on the doors of Solberg as we have a very good feeling about his potential for the 2003 season. The Pirelli pride, and Subaru dedication combined with his very obvious talent, may just cause the biggest upset in a long time. Fact is, Petter will be world champion, question is simply, when?
Here are the numbers as they have been allocated to the different teams:
MARLBORO PEUGEOT TOTAL
1. Marcus Gronholm
2. Richard Burns
FORD MOTOR COMPANY
